We have gathered today with family and friends to praise, meditate, and reflect upon the life and times of our dear loved one, Kashema Latoya Bowman.

Kashema Latoya Bowman was born on Friday, August 11, 2000, in Manning, South Carolina to Elizabeth Pearson and Richard L. Bowman.

Kashema attended the public schools of Clarendon School District Two and graduated from Manning High School on June 9, 2018. After graduation, Kashema attended Sumter Beauty College to pursue her goals in becoming a cosmetologist. She had a huge work ethic. She held positions at Wendy’s, Subway and Walmart all in Manning, SC, later becoming a Security Guard at Pilgrim Pride in Sumter, SC.

Kashema was a member of Church of God by Faith in Davis Station. She loved attending church and fellowshipping. She was intrique by the singing of her cousin, First Lady Sharon Mellette, which lifted her spirit to continue her passion in this world.

On Monday, July 5, 2021, Kashema Latoya Bowman departed this life to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willean Hilton, John Fulton, Jimmy L. Frank and Mary B. Fulton and aunt, Emma Pearson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sweet and precious mother, Elizabeth (Charles) Pearson Dacus of Manning, SC; her father, Richard Bowman of Florida; her grandparents, Mamie Bowman and Victoria Bowman; three sisters, Shykea Pearson and Miracle McCray, both of Manning, SC and Casey Jones of New York, NY; four brothers, Richard V. Bowman, Jr., Jonathan C. Bowman and Devon S. Bowman, all of Florida and Charles Dacus, Jr. of New York, NY; five aunts, Maxine Pearson and Deloris Hilton both of Manning, SC, LeeAnn Bowman of Summerton, SC, Maxine Days of High Point, NC and Cathy Fulton, Johnnie Mae Fulton of West Palm Beach, FL; a Godmother, Angelee White of Charleston, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
