With sorrowful hearts, we announce the passing of Mrs. Viola Murray, 91, widow of Mr. James Murray,  who entered into rest on Monday, January 13, 2025, at McCleod Health Clarendon, Manning, SC. She  was born on Monday, November 6, 1933.

The family will receive visitors at the home of her sister-in-law, Maxine Hampton,  at 25 Parson Street, Summerton, SC 29148.

Public visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at  King-Fields Mortuary, on 3 Larry King Highway, Summerton, SC 29148.

Funeral services have been set for Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Olden Chapel UME Church, 189 Hoyt Street, Sumter, SC 29150.

Though not required, masks are encouraged to be worn while visiting with the family and during the funeral service.
