Unray Caldwell was born on Monday, April 25, 1960 in Clarendon County to Mae Pearl Green Caldwell and the late Nolie Caldwell.

Having been reared in a Christian home, Unray joined Liberty Hill A. M. E. Church, where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

Unray was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County. After high school he moved to Manhatten, New York and later relocated back to South Carolina where he was employed by Warren Battery Co. of Lexington, SC.

He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Unray is preceded in death by his father, Nolie Caldwell, Sr.; two brothers, Nolie Caldwell, Jr. and Clemon Caldwell.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother, Mae Pearl Caldwell of Summerton, S.C.; one sister, Phylstine Matthews of Corona, New York; one brother, Michael (Janet) Caldwell of Columbia, SC; A special friends, Mary Banner of Lexington, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family is receiving friends at 1216 Furman Road, Summerton, SC 29148.
