Kendal Nelson was born on March 11, 1986 to Wallace Nelson, and Cassie Brailsford in Sumter, SC at Mcleod Hospital in Manning, South Carolina. At an early age, he became a member of  Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Summerton, SC, under the leadership of the late Reverend O' Donald Dingle.

Kendal Nelson, affectionately known by his family and friends as "Bo", was a hard worker. He was a dedicated worker at Ricky's Tree Service.

On the quiet Sunday morning of January 28, 2024, Kendal Lionel Nelson entered into eternal rest at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Cassie (Michael) Brailsford of the home; father, Wallace Nelson of Jacksonville, FL; his fiancé, Lashonda Rankins of Manning, SC; two brothers, Keith Nelson of Summerton, SC, and Kevin (Georgette) Nelson of Central, VA; two sisters, Kimberly (Robert) Quzack of Manning, SC, and Lakeisha Prince of Summerton, SC; three step-brothers, two step-sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and close friends.
