Hestell "Stella" Brunson Dingle , a daughter of the late Wallace Brunson Sr. and Viola Chapman-Brunson, was born January 31, 1934, in Clarendon County of South Carolina.

Hestell was married to the late John Dingle for fifty years and to this union three children were born.

Hestell is remembered for her loud tone, boastful speech "trash talking", being observant, and easily pleased.

On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, God opened his arms and welcomed His child Hestell Dingle to his eternal home. She is preceded in death by two brothers,  Wallace "Son" Brunson Jr. and Edward Brunson; one sister, Mary Lee (Brunson) Davis and three deceased children.

Those left to grow from her legacy of love are: her loving and devoted daughter, Virginia (Joseph) Dingle Briggs of Manning, and two sons, Willie Dingle of Summerton, SC and Richard Dingle of Florida; nine grandchildren, Jenny M. Briggs, Elizabeth (Lamar) Gaymon, Joseph L. (Chelsea) Briggs, Malcom Robinson, Sylvinea "Sadie" Dingle, Kayla M. (Davon) Murray, Stacey Dingle, Lisa M. Briggs, and Javon T. Briggs; a best friend/sister-in-law, Mrs. Susie Mae Brunson; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Virginia Briggs, 2351 George Harvin Road, Manning, South Carolina.
