Harold Jerome Mitchell, Sr. affectionally known as "Ron" was born in Manning, SC on Sunday, November 2, 1975 to Marie Mitchell and Harold Turner.

He received his education from Historic Scott's Branch High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1994. At an early age he was employed by the Wyboo Golf Course. From there he worked several jobs including Sumter Packing, Federal Mogul, Paxair and LTC Health Solutions.

At the age of 16, Ron accepted Christ as his personal savior and joined St. Mark A. M. E. Church in Summerton, SC.

Harold married his high school sweetheart, Denetreal Busby on May 28, 2001. To this union they were blessed with four children.

In his spare time he enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. No matter the occasion, from cook outs to baseball games and even family trips.

On Sunday, September 22, 2019, Harold departed this early life in Summerton, SC.

Harold leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Denetreal Mitchell of the home; four children, Dashawn Mitchell, Jazmine Mitchell, Latrell Mitchell and Harold Mitchell, Jr., all of Summerton, SC; one granddaughter, Ar'Bryanna Williams; his mother, Marie (Moses) Mitchell Oliver of Thomasville, NC; his father, Harold Turner of Summerton, SC; grandmother, Mary B. Mitchell of Summerton, SC; a brother, Michael (Toni) Mitchell of Pinewood, SC; a sister, Keela (Johnny) King of Columbia, SC; a mother-in-law, Trena Busby of Summerton, SC; a sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law, four aunts, 2 great aunts, five uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Four best friends, James Richardson, John Ragin, Dee Conyers and Jose.

The family is receiving friends at the home, 12 Annie Taylor Road, Apt 4D, Summerton, SC and the home of his grandmother, Mary B. Mitchell, 28 Parson Street, Summerton, SC.

Services has been entrusted to the professional care of King-Fields Mortuary, Summerton, SC.
