It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Ersie Blackwell, 84, who transitioned to her eternal home on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. She was born on Wednesday, February 4, 1942.

Funeral services have been set for Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 am at Historic Liberty Hill A.M.E. Church, located at 2310 Liberty Hill Road, Summerton, SC 29148.
