The day God called your name it broke my heart in two; but heaven needed an angel and the one he chose was you. But you left memories in our hearts and that is where they will always be. We will miss you every day. Keep shining in heaven so you can light the way.
Clyde Billy was born on August 28, 1919, in Clarendon County to the late Frank Billy, Sr. and Rosa Holliday Billy.
Mr. Billy was a farmer for many years and worked as a head custodian at Furman High School in Sumter County.
Mr. Billy loved his church family, He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant U. M. E. Church in the Panola Community of Pinewood, SC.
On Monday, July 19, 2021, after a week of declining health, Mr. Clyde Billy won the final victory and entered eternity. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his wife, Annie M. Fordham Billy and a daughter, Adeline Billie.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving children, Clyde (Linda) Washington, Jr. of Columbia, SC, Dr. Shirley B Dozier of Pinewood, SC and Isaiah (Debra) Billie of Alcolu, SC; six grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Evangelist Ivory, Sharde, Tameka and Jaheim; five great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Craig Jr, Sasha, Sharlissa and Skylar; a devoted brother, Elijah Billy and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
