Audrey Gretta Walters was born on Thursday, June 28, 2020 to the late Jonathan Walters and Vivian Devoe Walters in Clarendon County.

Audrey was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County and graduated from Scott's Branch High School in 1980. She continued her studies at South Carolina State University and Webster University earning her Master's Degree.

Audrey was a life-long member of Greater St. Phillip R. M. U. E. Church in Pinewood, South Carolina.  Where she served as the church's secretary.

Audrey was employed in Clarendon School District One, where she worked as a Social Worker for over 32 Years.

On Friday, May 22, 2020, Audrey Gretta Walters went home to be with the Lord at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, South Carolina. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents and sister, Brenda Frierson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings, Margo (Michael) Billie of Hopkins, SC, Willie Lee Devoe of Fords, N. J., Marvin A. (Janet) Walters of Woodbridge, N.J., Vermell Walters of Irvington, N. J., Vondral (Tahkiay) Walters of Avenel, N. J.; six aunts, two uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
